Recital Flowers

I saw a moment of child-free photography and took it. Seriously, y'all, what's not to love about these gorgeous blooms?

So, hows about something from this month...

Now, before you go pointing it out, I know I am repeating myself (at least, to those of you who have my personal blog and this photo blog). I am doing this because I have lost sight of one goal instrumental in inspiring this photo blog - to work on photographing more than my kids. Of course, when I made such a goal, I overestimated the amount of time I'd have without my kids to take such photos. I also forgot what truly perfect subjects of less-than perfect photos my gorgeous kids are. So, here they are. I know I have some bird pics I took a while back... I may have to dust them off and post them. June is all about these kids! (and, ps, I know I need to learn Photoshop. If you saw my house, you'd understand why I have more important things going right now than teaching myself a program.)
